This "Seiko Mod" is hand-assembled using a mix of genuine Seiko internal components and high-grade aftermarket exterior parts :

• Case Size & Material: The watch features a 40mm case crafted from 316L marine-grade stainless steel. This specific steel is chosen for its superior corrosion resistance and strength. For this edition, the case is finished with a thick 18K gold plating to provide a luxurious, heavy feel.
  
  
• The "Double Diamond" Bezel: A standout feature is the bespoke, high-polish bezel. It is meticulously set with two rows of brilliant-cut aftermarket crystals (simulated diamonds) that provide a high-end, reflective luster similar to factory-set precious gems.
  
  
• Movement (The Heart): It is powered by the Genuine Seiko VK63 Mecha-Quartz movement. This hybrid caliber offers the best of both worlds:
  • Quartz Precision: Perfect timekeeping accuracy with approximately 3 years of battery life.
  • Mechanical Feel: The center chronograph hand has a smooth sweeping motion (rather than a ticking one) and an instant fly-back reset when the bottom pusher is pressed.   
                                  
• Glass: The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. This material is second only to diamond in hardness, ensuring the watch face remains clear and free of scuffs over time. It also features an anti-reflective (AR) coating to reduce glare in bright light.
  
  
• Strap: The watch is fitted with a white High-Performance Fluorine Rubber (FKM) strap. Unlike standard silicone, FKM rubber is:
  • Dust-Resistant: It does not attract lint or debris.
  • Chemical & UV Resistant: It won't fade or crack from exposure to sunlight, saltwater, or sweat.
